Looking for ideas on how to make money even while sleeping(brainstorm session)

I am looking for ideas on how to make money without doing anything. Something ideal for busy employees to maximize the power of their savings by making it earn more money passively.  Very nice reading material super simplified you don't need to have much experience with the stock market to understand. I wouldn't recommend it for stock traders though this is more on people willing to turn the stock market into a piggy bank and wait it out for around 20 years.
